Why am I doing this?

Argh! What is the appeal of sobriety again? Why do I need to be sober? It's only... day 2? I can't imagine going thru this struggle for umpteen years!! 

It's hot and a beer would be nice- I can't even think of anything to write- except that being in front of this laptop means I am not sitting here having a drink. I had some insight earlier while clothes shopping with my daughter too.... but it has escaped me.
